The Nordic Science Centre Association (NSCA) announces the official call for scholarship applications for 2025.
The goal of the scholarship is encourage exchange of the experience, as well cooperation and launching of new common projects among science Centres across Nordic and Baltic countries.
The application must be submitted not later
than December 9th, 2024 here.
The application must include:
- A one-page A4 motivation letter
- Your preferred destination among NSCA member institutions
- An outline of your learning objectives
- An estimated budget for your travel and accommodation expenses
- An approval letter from your science center director.
- An approval letter from science center you are going to visit
As a friendly reminder, the NSCA general
meeting has determined that all visits to science centers within our network
will be free of charge. To access this benefit, you will need to present a
Membership Card, which can only be obtained from your director.
Evaluation
All applications will be evaluated in the order they are received. By the end
of January 2025, the NSCA board will reach a decision regarding the funding.
Feedback on the applications will be provided to all applicants at the beginning
of February 2025.
For those who receive funding, it is essential to secure their travel expenses
upfront. After the trip, scholars must complete a reimbursement form and submit
it to the provided email address. The reimbursement form will be sent to
scholars along with the notification of a positive funding decision.
